Re: I Don't Think So . . .

<Its likely that it goes back to his family in Saudi Arabia and that puts the U.S. in a tough spot: Saudi Arabia is one of our few "friends" in the middle east. I fully expect the Bush Administration to pressure the Saudi's into giving up Bin Ladin's network of financial backing. If they don't do it, I expect that we may ultimately see another gulf war with only Israel on our side.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a country will not support Osama bin Laden, or his terrorist organization. The only attacks the kingdom could ever possibly support against a US sanction is in petroleum. They hold far too many democratic customers who are currently shouting for justice for them to think they could ever win such a stand-off. I've been there, and the ghettos of Saudi Arabia are very, very nice -- complete with community gymnasiums. The rich of that nation (and there are many) would not like the idea of having to give up any of their countless luxuries, particularly for someone who attacks their biggest customers.

I like your approach, though. Take away his funding, and you immediately cut into his mobility.
