Your sentiments are appreciated. Some of your solutions are good ideas (better doors for example), however I think others may be overly drastic. Pilot procedures for dealing with hijackers up until now have been based on previous hijackings, where time was spent at airports in Cuba or something, and usually most of the passengers made it out okay. I will venture to say that procedures will change now, but I have no real idea how. The Israelis have rather tight controls and more draconian procedures. They seem to work.
