I follow jimmy elsewhere
he is now disillusioned and seeking a footing.
He sees that the fundie lies he has promoted have a door into the darkest basements of human evil.
He is now rejecting anything to do with the manifestation of these evils.
Evil people very very often use grand conspiracies, racist rhetoric and psuedo-populist posing to hide their misanthropic desires.
I frankly hope and think likely that james can come out of this as a decent person.
Time will tell.
He is in my prayers.
