America and UN Funding
Excuse Me,
But one of the main problems in terms of functionality of the UN right now is that the USA has not paid its subscription Fee.
The USA is witholding payments and is the biggest debtor to the UN than any ten, or 50, banana republics.
I can see that the idea is to force the UN to become a "better" body, but this is pure asphyxiation.
"Do it our way, or die"
I suspect some more compassionate, flexible, and ultimately credible foreign policies would be a really good step now.
Only 50 years late...
