On my way to work I see a lot of people reacting to the situation. Some of the reactions I see make me feel suspicious, such as people with smiles on their faces. But maybe they just thought of something funny! There are people of different ages and life experiences, and also people with different levels of maturity all around me. Even before this happened we all lived with petty crooks and people that are just obnoxious.

The way I see it is not to deal with people at all but the machine - the tool - that was used to commit the crime. Especially in aerospace and space technology we are gradually increasing the power of the machines to the point that they can do horrific damage if they are misused. Perhaps this is the ultimate achilles heel of the human species, evidence that it may not be possible for humans to build greater things without destroying himself. We came so close to nuclear war many times - can you imagine if what could happen if antimatter could be manufactured in large quantities? How do you foolproof that!?!?!?!
