You get my drift...if bin Laden goes down it will be 'outside' the law or the result of 'normal' warfare.

Much like the cop who takes off his badge when he gets in a fist fight after work...

Our alliances with other nations and their governments will like this 'approach' much better.

Justin's point that the kid gloves are off is well taken - but targeting individuals should be an exception - not a rule.

At least that's my take on it...

bin Laden will get his just desserts - laws or not. The mechanics of energy make it inescapable....some would call this destiny, justice or retribution.

Laws are powerful things and last a long time.

One must act for the future as well as the present. The Congress that passed income taxes declared that it would ever exceed 6%!

We have the power, we have the technology and we have the resolve.

Saddam Hussein was never as universally hated as much as this guy is...and that will be borne out in the weeks ahead.
