I did see your post the other day, but hadn't read through all the links. Thanks for reposting.

My little sweetie is doing just fine(thanks for asking), if you discount the teething. She's cutting her 5th one right now. She'll be 18 months in 2 weeks.

She is now able to climb the ladder on the slide all by herself, but gets a little scared to go down the slide without help. She will climb anything (chairs, tables, drawers) any chance she gets, but its the getting down that she still has a hard time with.

I'm sure she doesn't understand the images or words being said on the tv, but she has definetly been able to tell how agitated my wife and I have been lately. We no longer turn on the news much until after she's gone to bed, and even we can't stomach too much of it anymore.
