Believe me, there is much said that is not true at 17, especially among the art crowd.
There are other things that may be true, but she's 17, not 12. Old enough to marry in some states, and almost old enough to vote. I don't think 40-year-olds should be doing cocaine (and why would such a smart cookie post that on her web page?), but at 17, her sex life is her own.
We can't lock 'em up. All we can really do is teach 'em well and hope.
