I think we can all be assured by this point that Bush will not be too hawkish. The question that has me apprehensive, and is still waiting to be answered, is will he be hawkish enough?

There is a good case to be made for the thesis that if we do not attack the broad base of terrorism, in nations other than Afghanistan, either with military force or otherwise, that we will just be seen as helpless victims, ready for another hit.

If you want to see some real hawks with this opinion, check out the Ayn Rand crew's viewpoint. They may have a certain point, but right now I'm glad they're not in charge.
