is that we're not too sure they're any better than the Taliban. Pakistan in particular is concerned about the NA. They fear that if the NA captures Kabul, there will be a bloodbath as they settle old scores. Any government that gives the appearance of being helped or installed by the US will appear to be a puppet. I still think the best chance for stability in the region is for a neutral party, perhaps the UN, to help them establish a multi-ethnic representative government, perhaps centered around their deposed king as a figurehead. It'll be interesting to see if the UN actually does something useful for a change.
