That's why I objected so strongly to the sanitized, whitewashed view of Islam presented on Oprah.

If we judge Islam by what its leaders say, there is still only an occasional small (but welcome) voice speaking out against radical Islam and terrorism. The majority voice is speaking for jihad against the infidels. Imagine, in contrast, the media uproar if the Pope made a series of anti-semetic remarks, calling for death to the Jews and the majority of Cardinals echoed the same. Why the double standard? Could it be that the Church over the last centuries has adapted to secular society and that yes, the Western religions are, shall we say, "civilized", at least in their majority doctrine regarding treatment of others.

If we judge Islam by what its adherents DO to people of other religions...well the record, including the last 100 years, is pretty clear there isn't it? They behave like murdering savages.

It's time to stop being PC and face the facts. These people said they were going to kill as many infidel Americans as they could and then they did it.
