There is a way to export life out of our own solar system. Spew DNA around, or target remote planets which seem to have water with it. Trying to get whole generations of humanity to survive out there would require one world government devoting all our resources.
Resources which would be better spent trying to keep this place livable in the short term, a task at which we are failing badly.
