Opinions on using germ warfare on Afghanistan
I would like to hear people's opinions on whether it would be acceptible to use germ warfare on Afghanistan?
Arguements in favor of germ warfare:
- it was used on us... one would expect a nuclear exchange if nukes had been used against us
- it can be delivered by air drops
- it can spread by person-to-person contact
- in a country without any other means of communication besides "word of mouth" containment of germs would result in communications breakdown
Arguments against germ warfare:
- it would kill a lot of people including civilians
- it could spread beyond the borders of Afghanistan
- it is a sortof repugnant form of warfare IMO and is probably outlawed by UN conventions
- all is fair in war...
