Think deeply, think out loud, but you're barking up the wrong tree if you think you can get any kind of reasonable discusssion from this group.
They're as set in their ways, as we are in ours.

Papa Cheney is doing this for the GOOD of our country, can't you see?
Do you want to go back to the horse and buggy days?

Everything is out of our hands anyway.
There are no elected officials, only appointed (and annointed) ones.

Forget the Geneva Convention, forget all the treaties. This is WAR (declared or not).
And they're not going to stop at carpet bombing and little ole Afghanistan. Soon they'll employ small nukes on nations inhospitable to us as a first strike.
They'll HAVE TO.....to ensure our safety.
Can't you see there's no where else to go?

And no matter how abhorrent you may find this policy, it will soon become a reality until we all are sick of war and ailing in our own defile.
With any luck, we'll stay be "safe" here, although there will be a lot of civil unrest.
And they have a contingency plan for that too.

So, buck up, hunker down, get a few supplies in and.......get ready.
