Re: Why am I suspicious?
Dick Cheney was on the forefront of proposing solutions to the energy crisis that led up to this war. He proposed building upwards of 1500 coal-fired powerplants, drilling for oil in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, and no doubt has a hand in the current massive tariffs against Canadian Lumber - why? Perhaps to guarantee that a pipeline will be built through Canadian territory?
At the same time Bush was pushing missile defence, rejecting the Kyoto Treaty, and generally giving me the impression that he was trying to start a war!
Does anyone else have opinions on this? Especially something that I hope will prove me wrong!
