One religion is true, and the other is false.

The two remain unrelated, and any attempt to draw a parallel is meaningless.

The Taliban is angered that unbelievers of the one, true religion should dare to attack the holy race of Muslim during this month of fast and sacred contemplation. The complaints of other religions are meaningless.

Not that I really give a rat's ass what the Taliban wants, and I do see your point, but the intolerant Taliban never could.
