I recently attended an "open forum" at my university regarding the attacks and aftermath of September 11th. Unfortunately the administration at my school is overly liberal, and there were no rational, pragmatic viewpoints represented at all. It really disgusts me that people are so deprecatory of our country and it's foreign policy, but these same people offer up no solutions to these apparent problems. There is nothing wrong with a little constructive criticism, but I find that most all of these people just harbour an extreme sense of resentment toward the United States and are loath to see us succeed in any way. Perhaps we have tolerated too much, and perhaps we have taught the world a dangerous lesson with our fragmentation and unwillingness to unite against a common enemy.
