Are you really offended?
Or just taking a pot shot? After all it is one of the most commonly used words in our language and has found it's way into many other languages. I understand it is firmly intrenched in French conversation.
I stay away from using certain expletives on the web but I confess to using them in conversation with adults at certain times. To be outspokenly offended seems to be either childish or self righteous.
