Point being the guy held leadership positions in groups with extreme views. We have a chopice not to nominate or to confirm such persons. If you've read their views, and here's a clue, advisors and board members of orgs bear responsibility for the org's views, you'd agree that they were extreme. People need to bear responsibility for the views they openly advocate.
