You know Frank, it's amazing how civil you are to all the other posters on this board, yet you and Ed seem to thrive off dissing me. I have always posted civilly and and write my position clearly without lowering myself to insulting you.
News is news. If Tipper Gore had been found in an all men's club drunk and nude, you'd have posted it. If Clinton's daughter had been caught smoking pot or kissing a girl, you'd have posted it.
Would I have called you "insensitive and idiotic"?
Hardly.
>"For all of your silly posts I thought better of you that that."
No you don't....and don't bother to sound self-righteous either.
You, Ed and (lately Larry J) are all out there dissing me.
Just because I lean to the left, doesn't give you guys the right to attack me.
You can disagree with my views, but insults are NOT civil discourse.
It actually just shows your intolerance to anyone who thinks differently than you.
>" In more cases than not, substance abuse problems in a family have little to do with a loving environment. If that is what happened to you I am sorry."
See, another insult. Substance abuse occasionally happens to loving families, but I'm sorry, there's a REASON why this happens, and if the parents were THERE to monitor the problem in the first place AND gave the son or daughter tough love and lot of care, these things just don't progress.
>"Problems like this have nothing to do with politics and your thinly veiled attempt to link it to politics is contemptible. "
Contemptible? I did make a snide remark about her father not distributing the $425 million dollars the government gave him to distribute in the State of Florida for children's health care.
I'll admit, THAT was a little below the belt, but you right wingers here CONSTANTLY make snide remarks about the Dems, or greens or liberal media; so I guess I just found it fair game.
