>"Since there is no basis in fact for your assertion, it occurred to me that your opinion may be shaped by a life experience. "
There was plenty of "basis in fact" for my "assertion", and I gave it.
I worked as a pharmacy tech for years and saw a few addicts trying to work the doctors and pharmacists into giving them their drugs. These people are not pretty. What Jeb Bush's daughter's tried to do is pathetic, and her behaviour is way out of line and should have been addressed long before this. Her family should have had her committed BEFORE she was arrested.
To leave her "floating around" in that state is akin to abuse AND neglect.
>"So why didn't you just say so and not waste the band width trying to say that any criticizm of your opinion is a personal insult."
Because you insulted ME, and not my topic.
Ad hominem attacks seem to be your best line of defense.
However, this does not work for me and only weakens your position.
>"Be of good cheer Lindy. Your opinions are tolerated here but perhaps not widely respected. I have close friends that are weirder than you and I make their life miserable too."
Well, you conservatives have all but run the liberals off this board with you bad-mouthing.; and although many may not "like" my opinions, but "tolerate" them......I can only say to you conservatives the SAME THING. I tolerate you, but may not respect your views.
How can you use the words "close friends" and "make them miserable" in the same sentence?
Anyone that made me miserable certainly wouldn't classify as a "good friend".
And as for being "wierd", that's strictly your opinion.
I consider myself NORMAL.....more normal than most.
Certainly compared to Tom Brosz and SDAI-TECH, I'm VERY normal.
(Hell, just ask Publius.......;~)
