No, I haven't "won."

I'm right. There's a fucking difference, although I'm finally beginning to understand that for a lot of people, there isn't. For them, truth belongs to the guy who's still standing at the end of the argument, and objective facts have nothing to do with it.

For them it's about belief, not knowledge. No wonder they view all arguments as personal battles.

Some things are true no matter who says them. It means something that the government has gotten so big we can't tax our way out of the hole any more.

It's not like the first time you've been shown the math. All I did was post a picture of it.

If I'd wanted to beat people into insensibility with the concept in this post, I could have colored in the $494 billion in tax hikes coming on in 2013 when ALL the tax cuts die, including the payroll tax holiday that liberals here fought like hell to continue (you listening, Buck?)

That would take you almost to the halfway point of that $1.2 trillion deficit.

The deficit for 2012, only halfway through the fiscal year, is already estimated at $777 billion. That massive 2013 yearly tax increase wouldn't break even just on that much.

It means something that an entire political party is standing in front of the American people and lying their asses off about this. A party dedicated to class warfare, and ever-increasing government, and driven by the mindset of people who believe, instead of know.
