That's because the analogy stunk.
If you created a graph of total taxes paid, and colored in the part paid by the wealthy, the bar would be considerably larger than the little red bar in the first graphic.
In fact, the bar for the top quintile would go 70 percent of the way down the line, even including payroll taxes.
In short, the analogy would work if 70 percent of draftees had been rich.
