Islam Online has a very anti-West undertone, with newswire releases going through heavy editing. It's kinda bridled at the moment, but at the height of the Taliban bombing, they were livid. I see it as a sort of Muslim National Enquirer. There's a germ of truth (i.e., one minister in all of France is belly-aching), but it's mostly blatant anti-West hype. I post Islam Online items that are pertinent, sometimes as a kind of equalizer to all the "God Bless America" hoopla, and occasionally, like today, when it's funny.
Famous for its cowboys......THAT's a laugh!
And that’s the entry that caught my eye. Foreign nationals often confuse Texas with Wyoming.
Besides, I believe Dan Aykroyd has it on good authority that Cone Heads actually come from France.
