We have the recent examples of Enron and WorldCom which debunk the idea a free market is workable in this world. They ignore them. Absolutely ignore the human factor.
A problem as I see it is that a free market could work 225 years ago. Small shops, small factories, word of mouth advertising, would allow for instant feedback.
To apply the rules for those days to this is silly, but that what they try to do.
