We have our good and bad days but overall we don't do so bad. Permits are issued to KKK groups and the thing goes off with no fatalities. During the civil rights movement, Blacks paraded peacefully throughout the south threatening beliefs that ran far deeper than anything to do with Vietnam. There was some disorder but few were killed and there were no organized lethal attacks on the demonstrators that I recall being similar to the occurrance in India.

In your wierd analogy, I would bet that it would go off without a problem. Now, I wouldn't want to be on the crew responsible for tearing down the wall. You might have some people determined to stop that.

There is no doubt that when pushed far enough we are capable of great violence. In fact you might say we are the masters of violence. That is something our enemies should always keep in mind while they plan our destruction.
