The Soviet Union fell because it wasn't really a communist state...It only pretended to be one so that the masses would be placated while a few corrupt leaders really ran a polyarchy designed to renrich their secretly capitalistic and therefore, corrupt mindset...But of course, if a true communist paridise were established it would be as if mankind left Plato's cave and found the dawn of a new age...Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah...

OK. Now here's what I Really think: I think this is what Gorbachav is really setting the stage for: He and a lot of other Communists want another shot at establishing the "peoples paradise". (I.e. Come on give 'em a chance, the last one would have worked if only it wern't for the corruption...)

If you too would like to sound like a leftist poly-sci professor (Or ageing former communist dictator) then you must first realize that their logic is clearly deviod of any clarity; however, they do have a hidden agenda that can be easily spotted if you know what your looking for.
