To suggest that constituents want work creating projects to be located in their local area.....well, I am shocked at the suggestion.

If Democratic pols do this sort of thing, it is an example of pure pork.

Of course, when God fearing Republicans bring work, jobs, buildings, military bases to their local area....well faith, it's a mazeltov.

To go so far as to say the people actually want and demand special benefits from their congress person is to say we, as a people, are largely getting the kind of government we ask for. What a notion!
