Busted... if you could call it that :)

He was Comptroller for a medium-sized city in upstate New York. It was his second career.

My grandparents were among the first in the community to get color television, because their children all chipped in and got them one. Nana used to say it was so all of us kids could come to her house on Sunday evening and watch Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color, but we kids all thought it was so we could gather together to watch Grandpa on the evening news.

He used to say there is no democracy outside of the municipality, and the Greeks had it right all along. He also said women should never have gotten the vote, and never to run on a ticket -- attention: offensive nouns -- with a nigger or a pollack, but he'd say that in the den, not on the front porch.

And I won't post his name on a public BBS. You'll just have to take my word for it, or let me email it to you. :p

Regards--
Mary Anne
