My comments are relative to Fox News opinion.

Presidents and Congress have frequently pushed the Constitutional envelope. This was a specialty of F. D. Roosevelt.

Would the congressmen who sponsored and/or voted for the bill concede that it is plainly unconstitutional? I can hear it now, "Yes, we knew it was blatently unconstitutional but in spite of our oath to uphold, we felt sure we could slip it past Bush and the supreme court."

I have heard Bush say that he likes some things and some things he is not sure about. If anyone has heard him say that he knows the bill is unconstitutional then he should veto.

Of course, if that proved to be true, that makes him smarter than a large majority of congress including most of the dems.
