Be careful, TB. You've recognized that similarities in partisan rhetoric suggest that political speech may be more a function of partisanship itself than of intrinsic philosophical differences. THAT is a very dangerous concept: political relativism, a Liberal idea if I ever heard one.
Its hard to be a Zealot or a True Believer when your critics start using the same language you do. A neutral third party might not be able to tell us apart.
