There's only one way for Israel to have peace.
I've said it before, you can't half ass occupy a piece of land. Instead of withdrawing they need to push their borders right up to the Jordan river, a much more defensable position. Expulsion of all non jews from Gaza, the W.B., and the Golan Heights is the only way for them to be safe. I'm not saying that they have to reinact what they did to the Canaanites, but it's clear that the only way for a lasting peace is for one of the sides to be totally vanquished from the territory in despute. Seeing how Israel is a major nuclear power (at least 200 weapons) and has a very formidable conventional military, I don't know what the U.N. would be able to do about it.
