A question on tactics
The Israeli tanks seem to have a "pass". Haven't seen any attacks, haven't heard of any losses of them.
Haven't heard of any missiles being fired at them, no mines, not even any makeshift incindiary or demolition devices. In close-quarter urban fighting a suicide mission could at least make it "hot" for a tank. It's not as if there here aren't a lot readily available man-portable anti-tank devices out there.
And, it isn't as though the Palestinians didn't know that tanks would be coming.
Now, it may be that the Israelis can suppress any activities out beyond the range of a missile, but I doubt it.
Anyone got any thoughts as to how that could be. There's gotta be something I'm missing.
