The first part of you sentence is correct. Israel has a RIGHT. This right is legitimacy as a nation-state, both by declaration of the UN, and by dint of conquest in war.

Palestine has NO such right. It has never been a nation and lacks the perogratives of standing state hood.

For you to state that the world's debt to Israel ended with WII exposes you either to charges of hartless inhumanity in the face of Germany's inhumanity, or to being a real shmendrick.

The judgement is yours. Have to admit it feels novel to be on the same side of an issue as Tom.
