<More evidence of the danger this fiasco is causing to US citizens

[On Saturday, the U.S. embassy in Bahrain was overrun by rioters who clashed with marine guards. The rioters torched embassy vehicles, smashed windows and broke into the compound.]

On Saturday, the Washington Post reported that the Pentagon has prepared detailed plans to move its military command post in Saudi Arabia to Qatar. The newspaper said the military is quietly relocating to Qatar's Al Udeid Air Base

And from another article:

Israel's army chief General Shaul Mofaz told the cabinet 200 Palestinians had been killed and 1,500 wounded in the 10 days of fighting so far, a government source said.

With reporters and medics barred from almost all combat areas, there has been no independent confirmation of the death toll. Palestinian information minister Yasser Abed Rabbo said Saturday a "massacre" was taking place

The Palestinians said Saturday that dozens of wounded lay bloodied in the streets, unable to receive help because the Israelis had blocked ambulances, and asked world leaders to intervene.

From the AFP:

Israeli army shoots Palestinian dead by Bethlehem church: sources

BETHLEHEM, West Bank (AFP) - A Palestinian fighter was killed by Israeli gunfire as he attempted to put out a fire in a building adjoining the besieged Church of the Nativity here, Palestinian sources said.

Khaled Abou Siam, 26, who was among some 200 Palestinians holed out in the church, emerged early Monday to try to extinguish the flames engulfing a neighbouring religious building, according to Palestinian witnesses inside the church.

Europes ticked off too:

Euro sanctions

All in all, it's just panning out to be another one of history's bloodbaths.
