It's amazing how fast a socialist or communist can move when their way of life is threatened.

Le Pen with his anti Euro / anti-Globalisation rhetoric is much shrewder than I thought...

He is tapping far more than a race card with that one - he is tapping everyone whos wages have gone down under the EU system - and that is LOTS of people.

In Germany one state just shifted right. Soon ALL OF EUROPE WILL BE LEAD BY CONSERVATIVES!

It is like some unbelievable dream...yes, Le Pen may not be the perfect man for the job - but he is certainly helping the conservatives all over Europe throw off the socialist shackles.

I was going through my 1946 Life magazines and reading the debate about how to merge our sector of Germany with Britains so as to give a substantial fight to communism which was on the move.

The US is partly to blame for the socialist success in Europe. Truman was too slow to respond tp the threat - and so France, Belgium, Italy ...ALL of Europe has suffered as a result. I hope we can do our part to make things right again...

I have never been as entertained, and perhaps even excited about a French election before - and watching the communists, greens, socialists work against the right. It tells you just how desperate they are to cling to power - because they know once one has a taste of freedom - there's no going back to the collective. Fifty-six years of socialism run amuck, an "eastern bloc" - all because Truman didn't stand up to Stalin when we had him in a weak position, with our nuclear card and armies ready to roll.

America saved the world - but it also screwed up bigtime.

All of Europe could have been FREE.
