FYI, Israel has never required, nor asked for US troops to back up her play against the Arabs.

Although, in 1947 she got a lot of volunteer help from GI's fresh from WWII.

From that time to this, Israel has trained her own troops, payed for their arms or built them--Uzi, eg. fielded a very professional army against guerrilla raiders as well as Egypts best and all else the Arabs could throw against her.

All Israel has ever asked is the simple right to exist. They prefer to exist in peace, but if the Arabs want war......

It is the moral duty of every democratic nation to affirm the right of Israel to exist. period.
