At least now even the Democrats are admitting that big government bureaucracies are complete failures at solving the most critical problems. But I think you could still turn it to your favor if you just keep trying. You need to return to your "BIg government can solve any problem" Democratic party roots.

Come on Democrats, lets parade another family member of a 9-11 victim before the cameras and have them say:

“If only someone at the FBI would have passed the information to a deputy director who would have formed a committee to gather more evidence and then they could have presented that additional evidence to a panel of deputy directors who could have decided to present their findings to the FBI’s director who could have discussed it with the CIA’s director who could have formed a panel of the CIA’s best agents to go through their intelligence and determine exactly what was soon to happen so that the findings could be presented to the Attorney General who could have put prosecuting gays and forcing his religious views on America aside and made this issue priority number one and made certain that the other members of the Cabinet were in agreement so that when the matter was put before the President that he would understand the true magnitude of the findings and demand the FAA administrator kick some agency butt and get the airports locked down and the twin towers and pentagon, which were obvious targets, evacuated before the events of 9-11 were placed in motion.

Instead Bush mismanaged the agencies and did nothing. Meanwhile, Muhammed Atta and the other hijackers were told on September 9h that the plan was in motion. Most weren’t even told it was a suicide mission…But damn it Bush should have known even if the hijackers didn’t…After all, it was obvious wasn’t it? Janet Reno and Bill Clinton would have stopped it. We need a bigger government with more checks and balances to stop this in the future. We need more agencies. More committees. More Panels. More government over site. More money. More power. More control. More of your freedom. And how are we gonna do that without more Democrats in Congress?”
