Well, you seem to have a formula.
Either one of two things is true:
1. The Roman Catholic Pope is in control of his priests and giving them orders to molest children.
2. The Roman Catholic Pope is helpless, and cannot now and never could control the priests who molest kids.
Which of the two alternatives is true is not important. In either case, the Roman Catholic Pope has no authority or ability to stop the priests.
According to that, he's gotta go. Either ordered it, or can't stop it.
Historically, the Palestinians are factional, and have been at war with some of their own factions.
The fact is that Sharon has deliberately and systematically dismembered the leadership of the Palestinians, inviting factionalism, and now complains they are not under anyone's control.
What good will it do, except to set up a further excuse for the ethnic cleansing, for Sharon to install a puppet government of his choosing, then negotiate with it?
Sharon wants to find a Palestinian who agrees with him to settle this?
Hard to feature. You may have it right, though. The formula fits a lot of circumstances.

You and Sharon decide that?
