The world's concern for the "rights" of the scum we have incarcerated at Guantanamo, and this Mussoui (sp) charactar, is misplaced. These people have information that may well save thousands of innocent lives, so what extreme is justifiable in the interrogation process?

Very extreme, in my opinion!

Ok, so tourture isn't pretty. It illicits visions of the gestapo wacko with an array of nasty looking dental weapons...but let's be realistic. What's a little, or even alot of physical pain beside the needless massacre of innocent men, women and children?

Ofcourse, the ACLU, and wimps the world over, hold "rights" inviolable, which is fine with me, but when we're talking about mass murderers, cold blooded terrorists that are willing to kill and maim indiscriminantly, as their promotion into a heaven where 70 "dark eyed women" are their reward, the term "rights" takes on a whole new dimension.

These men have surrendered their rights, according to the ancient law of "an eye for an eye". You usurp another's rights, you surrender your own. You take another's life in a criminal act, you pay with your own. Simple justice.

But the left would have us believe that a criminal is free to inflict death and suffering and still retain the rights and priviledges of a civilized human being.

If some scientifically applied pain can loosen those foul tongues, I say....torture away!
