Hello,
Where is the line drawn and who decides?
We can torture them if they are willing to kill 1,000 people but not if they are willing to kill 50.
I don't view myself as an ACLU wimp, just a man with respect for the law and the constitution of the United States (I suggest that you read (re-read) it).
There is a reason that an eye for an is ancient law - it is neither practical nor effective in the long term.
Israel is a perfect example, Palestinians kill a few of "their" people and they retaliate by killing a few of "their" people, and the cycle continues with no solution. Even the current "war" on terror - where/when does it end, it is physically impossible to root out every single "terrorist" on the face of the planet.
Your type of thinking is bad for humanity, we must strive for a higher level.
I don't advocate sitting on our hands but an eye for an eye attitude just doesn't make sense.
See ya, VINCE
