Saudi Arabia already is an islamic state...
Title says it all. Saudi Arabia's legal system is based upon Koranic law, e.g. cutting off the hands of thieves, prohibiting women from working, etc. They're almost as much an islamic state as Iran. The real differences between them and the Iranians is the Saudis are Sunni rather than Shiite and not rabidly anti-Western.
