Controlling a 14 year old
I have no problem talking to my 14 year old daughter frankly about the birds and the bees. Nor do I have a problem talking frankly to her "boy friends". I advise them frankly that if I find that they have groped, harrassed or god forbid deflowered my baby daughter I will have them sent to prison in a heartbeat.
At fourteen she is not allowed to date and she is seldom out of my sight. The only way she sees a boy is in our home or at a chafferoned activity.
At sixteen there could be some potential problems but until then it is pretty well under control. By then she will have better control and I am confident she will know how to behave.
