Points of view.
Yours is totally different and I honor that.
However, I have to disagree with you.
Big time.
>The stock market is not a bank it is a risk-taking investment. A glorified form of gambling.
Yes, I would agree but tell it to those who lost their 401K's, or had their life savings invested in a company they trusted and worked for. Who weren't allowed to trade or sell their stocks while their corporate bosses sold their shares and got out safely before the company went bankrupt. Oh, they got THEIR money out.......by the millions.
>The CEOs who overstated earnings, ........paid the government HUGE taxes on this same stock.
Yes, and they're STILL millionaires, and they're still walking around free and easy.
>So the stockmarket and the US government have a vested interest in cooperation.
Huh? You've GOT to be joking!
>The average taxpayer should not be too eager to see these corporations or CEO's hung out to dry.
You damn right they do!
They don't want these illegal processes to continue.
>the democrats (do) of course. Certainly not the average taxpayer.
Whaaatt?? Did you read what you just wrote??
Democrats ARE the average taxpayer. Where have you been??
>...kids were on drugs during the Clinotn years,
Huh? Kids have always been on drugs.......during LBJ, Ford, Nixon, Reagan and Bush!
ha ha ha ha ha
>The DNC is making their big move - but it will backfire before it's all over - trust me.
I don't trust you, and nothing's going to backfire.....except on Bush.
