A lack of facts does not add up to an impossibility. It adds up to a need for research.
Q: What are the odds that you cut a fresh, shuffled deck 13 times and come up with the ace of spades each time?
A: For some, pretty good. For the average, run-of-the-mill Joe, 1 in 52 each time the deck is cut, compounded by the number of cuts made in the refreshed, reshuffled deck.
Drawing 13 ace of spade cuts in a row is not plausible, but remains very possible.
As for al-Quai'da and anthrax, the only evidence tying the two together is circumstantial. The only evidence tying a homegrown knut-case with anthrax is also circumstantial. More research is required, and is currently underway.
Dan (I wonder if the media will ever announce that the case has been dropped to the FBI's unsolved mysteries cabinet...)
