A problem I have with the anthrax being a foreign plot is that it was done in such a manner as to basically be a nuisance.

I suspect anyone with a little weaponized anthrax could have a lot of weaponized anthrax.

I suspect anyone with a lot of anthrax could afford to travel.

Anyone who could travel could mail the stuff from a lot of post offices.

I would guess that 100 of those letters mailed in the largest cities across the country would cause expensive, widespread, time-consuming problems.

With just a few letters entire buildings were evacuated for quite a period of time. I recently read where some mail from that time containing checks to charities are just now being delivered. The checks are no longer valid.

It might even permanently disrupt our mail system. At a minimum, making it safe would be almost impossible.

And I'm a bit puzzled why any organization hellbent on causing trouble for the US hasn't done that if they have anthrax. Or hasn't given anthrax to another organization who would.

Anyway, I think the guy who mailed it was just being a jerk, a deadly jerk, warrants the death penalty, but not intent upon doing as much damage as he could.
