So what?
If your local police force were looking to capture one of the FBIs Ten Most Wanted, and sent a rocket into a 5 story apartment building to do that, killing 14 other people and wounding 150 on top of that, most of us would be upset.
To say the Israelis didn't have another way to do this is disingenuous, at best. The reality is that if there is a peace agreement, they'll have to stop building settlements, and don't want to do that.
