Torricelli gets a slap on the wrist, while Traficant heads for the clink for eight years. Why? Well, because the Democrats need Torricelli to keep power in the Senate, while Traficant is expendable. That's pretty much it.
Torricelli could rape a nun on national television, and he would still get off. He knows it, the Senate knows it, and the media knows it.
Now the Senate is slamming the Torricelli case shut, and suppressing the documents. Everybody go home. Nothing more to see here.
