It’s the Israeli agenda. They have succeeded in hijacking the US foreign policy in the area by tying their goals to the US anti-terrorist efforts. Israel would like nothing more than having the US with no other friends there.

The US will wind up with only Israel as an ally in the area, continuing to support the Israeli crusade against Muslims in the former Judeah and Samaria.

(Most folks don’t know it, but that wasn’t a slam-dunk. At Pearl Harbor Japan declared war on the US, the US declared war on Japan. Because of their mutual defense pact, the “Axis”, Germany declared war on the US, and several days later the US entered the European war. But only after Germany declared war on US.)
