Bush and LBJ are both from Texas and somehow Bowser sees Bush selling everyone out like ol' demboys LBJ and JFK.
Ironically, had demboy Truman not pussyfooted in Korea and listened to repboy MacArthur - there would've been no Vietnam for Bowser to grumble about. The reds would've been contained to China.
Today's soldiers are all volunteers - not a one of them is drafted. No one is being sold out.
After watching the muslims kill their own (Sadat) for making peace with Israel - you soon realize that muslim fanaticism is not exactly the most evolved human expression.
Yet watching the masses swoon and burst into tears over a crippled and feeble Polish man, whose supposedly closer to God than anyone, yet whom God apparently tortures with endless ailments and yet no one finds this distressing or even questions it, also illustrates that Catholicism is also not exactly the epitome of intelligent human behavior either.
After reading Noonan's piece on the pope - you sometimes wonder how otherwise intelligent and rational people can be blindsided by things which are illogical and contradictory.
Conditioning and indoctrination, personal experience and seeking something larger than oneself who is responsible for ones circumstances, play a large role in the judgement process.
The same scenario applies to Bowser who views the world and all actions of the US government through "glasses tinted with injustice".
